The Fix Profile tool system, developed for use on single and multi-spindle lathes, is often used tidy on CNC lathes.
The basic idea of transferring the generally recognized advantages of the cutting insert to tools with individual profile cutting edges has been perfectly implemented with Fix Profile tools.
Fix Profile tools are equipped with clamped cutting edges, as opposed to the earlier typical practice of soldering profile cutting edges.

The Fix Profile tools precisely mount individual profiled form cutters. The form cutters can be changed out as often as desired, with excellent repeatability.
